My picnic bag

Who is it for?

The scheme is aimed at those who would usually receive free school dinners, or families who find themselves in need of some additional support at this time.

When is it running?

We are offering picnic bags for two weeks during the summer holidays, Monday 26th - Friday 30th July and Monday 23rd - Friday 27th August. You can dip in and out as suits you.

The picnic bags need to be pre-ordered and can be collected from Church of Our Saviour, Ashton Place between 10am-10:30am. We also offer delivery - please specify on your order form (available to download below).

What's included?

Each picnic bag will contain the following items:

  • A choice of ham/ham & pickle, cheese/cheese & pickle, tuna or jam sandwich
  • A choice of carrot sticks, cucumber sticks or baby tomatoes
  • A choice of an apple, satsuma or banana
  • A choice of apple or orange juice
  • A bag of crisps
  • A yoghurt
  • And something sweet (cake/biscuit)

How do I sign up?

If this is something that you are interested in, complete the order form for your child/children and email to by Friday 23 July.

How can I support this project?

Thank you for your interest in supporting our community. You can sponsor a picnic bag with a suggested donation of £10.00 a week. This donation will go entirely towards quality items for picnic bags.

To ensure consistancy we're unable to accept food donations, but you can provide food donations for the Little Free Pantry.
